Description: In order to further develop JCJCR’s work with encounter groups composed of Jews and Arab Christians, there is a need to train facilitators to work with this kind of group. Therefore, JCJCR is co-sponsoring a second training course for a select group of 5 Jewish and 10 Arab Christian and Muslim facilitators from Galilee which will further develop their existing skills and better equip them to work with JCJCR-sponsored encounter groups. Special emphasis will be placed on co-facilitation of groups. The course will be co-sponsored with the Beit Hagefen Arab Jewish Center in Haifa, which also promotes encounters in which the cultural/religious aspects of identity are emphasized alongside national and ethnic components.
